It could all be over very quickly
the sweet satisfaction of forgetting
the bliss of not retaining anything at all
If I could lie there and be taken away
become weightless and meaningless
I would give up to what we fear the most
These days it seems alluring maybe
If it were just simple, yet I know too much to ever be so numb
I come to myself
The walls the sheets and bed so hard
don’t take away what I have left
And they echo real loud, it’s been years, it’s been years
I haven’t gotten any wiser
Only recently I’ve woken up
Thank you.
