Like Grapefruit

My mind dances about
It’s a beastly thing
Sing with me
We will talk about our lives
As we lay together in the dark
your hand in mine
the rain will pour
It’s a wonderful night
your eyes illuminated in the shadows..
and we will cast our cares aside for just the night
seeking what.. as we gather in the silence
